Rarely do I feel such pride as when I look upon my own flesh and blood fully embodied in another person, my own child. How can I describe the joy and amazement that covers every ounce of my being; the shear awe that surfaces when the eyes of my precious son gaze into my own. It is a blessing that God allows me the privilege to see, touch, and embrace His miracle. I am utterly amazed and totally greatful.

Happy Easter from the Briscoe's!

Easter 2006 was lots of fun! We started the day by taking a few pictures in our backyard before going to church. We got the pictures in just before an Easter rain shower!

Chandler is quite the "ham". He was much more cooperative than his brother, who was playing on the swing set instead of posing for photos! Imagine that!

This year was the first year for the Easter Egg Hunt we hosted in our backyard. We decided to make it an annual event for our friends since everyone had so much fun! Six children hunted for eggs in our backyard after hearing an Easter story and having a cupcake. Sterling and Scarlett Hohman and all three Sekelsky brothers joined the fun. Unfortunetly, Chandler slept through the festivities. Too bad; the baby is always left out...

The children enjoy a story before racing for the Easter Eggs! Thank the Lord for a beautiful day to celebrate His ressurection! This year, above all, was a year that we counted our many blessings. God has been so faithful to bless us with a great house, healthy children, a job, just enough money for what we need, a great family, and a church that we are enjoying. So much has changed in our life over the last 6 months, and we are sensing God's power even more in every detail of our life. This Easter was a reminder that He was powerful enough to rise again, and His power is actively evident in our daily life. For without Him, we would be nothing and have nothing. Thank You Lord for your amazing blessings, most of all our NEW LIFE, both spiritually and physically!
